Manoe is an AI friendship companion app. We take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. By using Manoe, you agree to the practices described here. This policy applies to all users worldwide, including those in the European Union (GDPR), Turkey (KVKK), California (CCPA), and all other regions.

1. Data We Collect

Account Data

Manoe creates an anonymous account for you automatically when you first open the app. No name, email address, or personal identification is required to use the app. If you choose to link an email address to your account, we store that email address.

Conversation Data

We store your conversation history with your Manoer companions. This includes the messages you send and the responses you receive. Conversation history is used to provide continuity across sessions — so your Manoer remembers your previous conversations.

Voice Data

If you use voice features (speech-to-text or text-to-speech), your voice input is processed in real time to generate a text transcript. Voice recordings are not stored permanently — they are transmitted to our speech processing service, converted to text, and immediately discarded. We do not retain audio recordings.

Usage and Credits Data

We track your credit usage, subscription status, and feature usage to operate the app correctly and apply your plan limits. This includes which Manoer companions you have accessed and how many messages you have sent.

Purchase Data

If you make a purchase (subscription or credits), the transaction is processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment card details. We receive confirmation of your purchase status from the payment platform.

Technical Data

We collect basic technical data necessary to operate the app, including your device identifier, app version, and error logs. This data is used solely for debugging and improving app stability.

3. Third-Party Services

Manoe uses the following third-party services to operate. Each has its own privacy policy.

DeepSeek
AI language model that generates Manoer responses. Your messages are transmitted to DeepSeek for processing. DeepSeek does not store your messages permanently.
OpenAI
Speech-to-text (Whisper) and text-to-speech processing for voice features. Audio and text are transmitted for real-time processing only and are not retained.
Supabase
Database and authentication infrastructure. Your account data and conversation history are stored on Supabase servers with row-level security.
RevenueCat
Subscription and purchase management. Handles verification of your App Store and Google Play purchases.
Apple / Google
Payment processing for subscriptions and in-app purchases. We do not receive your payment card details.
Railway
Cloud infrastructure that runs our backend servers. All API requests pass through Railway servers.
Cloudflare
Content delivery and media storage for Manoer images and assets.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure. We use industry-standard security practices including:

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we take data security seriously, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your account data, conversation history, and associated records within 30 days. Some data may be retained for a limited period where required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.

Voice audio is never stored — it is discarded immediately after processing.

6. Your Rights

7. Children's Privacy

Manoe is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

8. AI-Generated Content

Manoe uses artificial intelligence to generate Manoer companion responses. Conversations with Manoers are generated by AI and are not monitored by human staff in real time. However, we reserve the right to review conversations where abuse, illegal activity, or violations of our Terms of Service are suspected.

9. International Data Transfers

Manoe operates globally. Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States and the European Union. These countries may have different data protection laws than your own. Where required, we rely on standard contractual clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms to protect your data.
